This Sunday we continue our Advent series by examining the theme of peace. Again, we will turn to prophecies of a coming king in the book of Isaiah. There we find a powerful metaphor for God’s care and providence. And through this metaphor we understand the reason we are able to find peace in God regardless of our circumstances – a peace which is remembered with the ornaments each family is invited to take home.
