This week we continue our series, “Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places,” by looking for the Liberator. When the ministry of Jesus began, the people of Israel had certain expectations for what the Messiah would do. But the way Jesus liberated was much different from these expectations. The way Jesus liberates us is sometimes different from our expectations too. This Sunday, we will examine the raising of Lazarus. And we will consider how Christ can also free us from tombs which seem inescapable.
