We continue our Advent series this week with the theme of joy. We will look again at the prophecies of Isaiah and read of the joy that will be experienced with the reign of a coming king. Isaiah assures the people of Judah who have suffered and placed their trust in God that things will change. That the joy they once felt will return, for “there will be no gloom for those who were in anguish.” And we will examine how with the coming of Christ we can experience that same joy.
